High Street, Rattray - Roadworks
9 September 2025 for 6 weeks.
Letter from Scottish Water:I am writing to follow up on our plans to carry out work to reduce the risk of sewer flooding in Rattray.
We can now confirm that the A926 High Street will be closed west of the junction with Hatton Road from Tuesday 9 September to allow our operatives to safely investigate and repair a damaged sewer.
It is anticipated these works will last approximately six weeks.
Traffic will be diverted via Hatton Road, returning to High Street by Balmoral Road and vice versa. Access to High Street from Sidlaw Road will also be affected. Drivers are advised to plan an alternative route to minimise any potential delays or disruptions.
We appreciate that the closure of this busy route will cause some disruption for road users but can only thank them for their patience and understanding while we carry out this essential work.
Our contractor The Clancy Group will be carrying out this work on our behalf and will work with everyone affected to minimise the impact of the works where possible.
Updates will be available as the repair progresses at: scottishwater.co.uk/Rattray
