Perth Citizen's Advice Bureau offers free, impartial and confidential advice across Perth & Kinross by telephone, email or in person.
We deliver support and guidance on a range of topics, giving people the information they need to deal with any situation and improve their lives.
We offer advice, guidance and information in a number of different areas:

We can help clients to word email or written responses or complete application forms. Expert advice - every time.
All advisors have had extensive training and are well-equipped to give advice on a wide range of problems and issues.

Perth Citizens Advice Bureau offers free, confidential and impartial support for anyone feeling stuck or unsure where to turn, whether it’s money worries, housing concerns, energy costs, work issues or family pressures.
As part of this service, people aged 50 and above can pick up personalised, whole-person support from Ted, our adviser for older people — a consistent point of contact who gets to know your situation, stays with you throughout, and helps you find the right guidance without having to repeat your story.
With our tailored advice, strong local connections and dedicated support for older people, Perth CAB provides someone on your side when things feel difficult.
CAB Connections – Let's Talk Money
Perth CAB is running friendly, practical workshops across Blairgowrie, Rattray and Strathmore where anyone can pick up useful everyday money skills — from budgeting and understanding bills to managing household costs, supporting families, and planning for future changes in work or income.
Across our sessions, people can build confidence with the basics, strengthen real‑life skills, and learn where to find support with issues such as pensions and long‑term financial decisions, all in a welcoming environment with no pressure to share personal information.
We aim to respond to messages within 3 working days. We can offer home visits if required.
Speakers of all languages can be catered for via Language Line which offers live translation services in person or over the phone.
We are still providing advice by telephone and email. We provide advice on a range of issues including employment, benefits, housing, consumer issues.
